1. How does Maku scan food products?

Maku uses advanced Artificial Intelligence to analyze the ingredients list on product packaging. Just point your camera at the ingredients text (not just the front logo), and our system will check it against your dietary profile (e.g., Halal, Kosher, Vegan, Gluten-Free) and flagged allergens.

2. The analysis result seems incorrect. Why?

While our AI is highly accurate, it depends on the quality of the photo.

3. Why did I get a "Mushbooh" or "Uncertain" status?

This happens when the AI finds ingredients that could be interpreted in multiple ways (e.g., "Gelatin" without a specified source) or if the text was too blurry to read with 100% certainty. We recommend treating such products with caution.

4. How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Maku subscriptions are processed securely through Apple’s App Store. We do not have access to your billing details.
